What product do you use to reglaze?

Epoxy. This low-cost and durable option can be used on almost any surface including formic, tile, and grout making it look clean and new. 

How long will it last?

5-10 years - depending on how well you take care of it. We will provide you with a care sheet once the job is done.

How long does it take to reglaze a tub?

 A tub will take between 1.5-2 hours to reglaze. A tub and tile will take 2.5-3.5 hours.

How long does it take to dry?

The epoxy needs at least 24 hours to dry or 'cure'.

 

Is it toxic?

Epoxy is safe in small doses. While reglazing, a strong paint odour can be detected. We use a ventilator to minimise the smell and vent out any overspray. If you keep some windows open, the smell does go away more quickly. You do not need to leave your home while the reglazing is taking place. 

Can I reglaze my tiles as well?

Yes, we also reglaze bathroom tiles, sinks, and countertops. The only thing we don't suggest you reglaze is tiled floor as it goes through more daily wear and tear.
